By accessing AfterDarkLace.com or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all policies referenced here, including our Shipping Information, Returns & Refunds and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use this website.

You must be 18 years of age or older to place an order. "You" and "Customer" refer to the person using this website or purchasing from us; "After Dark Lace," "we," "us" and "our" refer to After Dark Lace and its owners and authorized representatives.

We present products, colors and sizing as accurately as possible. Colors may vary slightly between screens, and measurements are approximate; consult our Size Guide before ordering.

All products are subject to availability. We may limit quantities, discontinue products or refuse any order at our discretion. Pre-order items display an estimated ship date, which is an estimate and not a guarantee.

Prices are displayed in your selected currency and are confirmed at checkout. Payment is processed through Shopify's secure checkout and charged when your order is placed, including pre-orders.

If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of a typographical or system error, we may cancel or correct the affected order, even after confirmation. Any charge for a cancelled order will be reversed.

Placing an order is an offer to purchase. A sales contract is formed only when we confirm your order by email. We may decline or cancel any order, including orders that appear fraudulent, exceed quantity limits or contain pricing errors.

Because orders are processed quickly, cancellation or changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has been placed. Contact us immediately at hello@AfterDarkLace.com if you need assistance.

Order Cancellation Fees

Cancellation requests submitted more than 15 minutes after an order is placed are subject to a 5% cancellation/restocking fee, where permitted by applicable law.

Orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled. Any subsequently authorized return is subject to the applicable return policy, including the 30% restocking fee and all product eligibility restrictions.

International Address Changes

International shipping addresses cannot be changed after an order has been placed. Changes to the destination country or international delivery address may affect customs documentation, duties, taxes, and shipping arrangements.

Customers who need to use a different international address must request cancellation of the original order, if cancellation remains possible, and place a new order with the correct shipping details.

Orders are processed according to the cut-off times and timeframes published on our Shipping Information page. Processing times are estimates and may be affected by high order volume, holidays or verification checks.

Free standard US shipping applies to qualifying merchandise orders over $200 USD. Add-on services, including FedEx Signature Confirmation®, do not count toward this threshold.

Delivery dates are carrier estimates and are not guaranteed. Once a package is handed to the carrier, transit times are outside our control. Full details are on our Shipping Information page.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, VAT and brokerage fees charged by their country, unless these are collected at checkout.

Packages refused or returned because import charges were not paid are handled under the policy on our Shipping Information page. Original shipping charges and any return or disposal costs are not refundable.

For eligible FedEx shipments, you may add optional FedEx Signature Confirmation® for $9.00 USD in your bag before checkout. When selected, FedEx will seek a signature at delivery.

If you decline it, your package may be delivered without a recipient's signature, including being left at your address. Signature Confirmation is a delivery service, not insurance, and does not guarantee protection against every delivery problem.

Carrier-confirmed delivery is important evidence that an order has been fulfilled. You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address and for securing your package after delivery.

After Dark Lace does not automatically refund or replace packages reported missing or stolen after confirmed delivery. We will assist with a carrier inquiry where appropriate. Lost packages that have not been confirmed delivered are reviewed with the carrier.

Final sale:

• All lingerie and swimwear purchases are final sale for hygiene reasons.
• Costumes purchased during September or October are final sale.
• Opened costumes purchased outside September and October are final sale.
• Sale and specifically designated final-sale merchandise cannot be returned.

Eligible returns:

• Return authorization must be requested within 3 calendar days of delivery.
• Approved returns must be sent back within 14 calendar days after delivery.
• Merchandise must meet our condition and packaging requirements; returns that do not may be refused.
• Approved discretionary returns are issued as store credit only, less a 30% restocking fee.
• You are responsible for tracked return shipping.
• Direct exchanges are not offered — please place a new order.

Damaged or incorrect merchandise must be reported within 3 calendar days of delivery by emailing hello@AfterDarkLace.com with your order number and clear photos. Reports made after this window may not be eligible for resolution.

• Provide accurate contact, billing and shipping information.
• Review sizing and product details before ordering.
• Monitor tracking and secure your package after delivery.
• Inspect your order promptly and report issues within the stated timeframes.
• Pay any applicable duties and taxes for international deliveries.

We may verify, delay or cancel orders we reasonably suspect to be fraudulent, and may refuse returns, cancel store credit or restrict accounts where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse of our policies.

If you file a payment dispute or chargeback, After Dark Lace may provide your payment provider with order records, tracking information, delivery confirmation, customer communications and the store policies that applied to your purchase. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue directly. Disputes are decided by your card issuer or payment provider.

• Promotions apply only when qualifying conditions are met and cannot be combined unless stated.
• Discount codes are single-use per customer unless noted, non-transferable and have no cash value.
• Final-sale and clearance items are not eligible for additional discounts.
• We may modify, cancel or end any promotion at any time.

All content on this website — including the After Dark Lace name and logo, photography, videos, graphics and text — belongs to After Dark Lace or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without our written permission.

You agree not to:

• Use this website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Interfere with the website's security or operation, or attempt unauthorized access.
• Scrape, copy or redistribute our content or product data.
• Place orders using false information or another person's payment details.

We may restrict access for anyone who violates these terms.

Your personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, After Dark Lace is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or our products, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes take effect once published on this page. The version in effect when you place your order applies to that purchase.
